After unloading 13 foreign trade containers and 10 domestic trade containers at Da Chan Bay Terminal, the barge slowly sailed to the next port. This marks the Da Chan Bay Terminal, the first ticket of domestic and foreign trade container transportation on the same ship formally set sail for Shenzhen and even the Pearl River Delta region to open up a new path of transportation of import and export goods.
Domestic and foreign trade container cargo transportation on the same ship refers to the domestic ships engaged in the carriage of customs transit supervision of goods, and at the same time, the carriage of import and export containerized goods and non-customs-supervised containerized goods that have been handled by the Customs and Excise Department for customs transfer formalities. Under this mode, domestic and foreign trade container cargoes can be loaded and unloaded along the way on the same ship, and the utilization rate of the ship's space can be improved while saving the logistics cost of import and export enterprises.
