On the morning of November 21, the "2023 International Port and Shipping Logistics Industry (Shanghai) Exhibition and the 6th Global Trade and Container Transportation Conference" was grandly opened at the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Center for International Sourcing.

The "2023 International Port and Shipping Logistics Industry (Shanghai) Exhibition" is co-sponsored by China Shipping Weekly, the Shipping and Logistics Branch of the China Communications and Transportation Association, and the Shanghai Shipping 50 Development Research Center. The 6th Global Trade and Container Shipping Conference is co-sponsored by the China Shipowners Association, Shanghai Shipping Exchange and China Shipping Weekly. The exhibition lasted for 3 days, with the theme of "gathering ports, shipping, rail and air to link foreign trade cargo owners", aiming to link the upstream and downstream resources of the industrial chain such as foreign trade cargo owners, ship owners, ports, cross-border trains, air freight, and international freight forwarding logistics. Including COSCO SHIPPING Lines, MSC Mediterranean Shipping, Yang Ming Shipping, SITC International, Shanghai Port, COSCO SHIPPING Port, Shandong Port, Jiangsu Port, Hubei Port, Guangzhou Port, Xiamen Port, COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport, Pan Asia Shipping, Sinotrans Container Lines, Jinjiang Shipping, Matson Shipping, China United Shipping, Yantian International and many other well-known port and shipping enterprises, as well as COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Supply Chain, Dasheng Logistics, Yibao Network Technology, COSCO Shipping Technology, Meishe International, Platypus, Hailian Zhitong, Shanghai Wohang, Chunhong Supply Chain, Upstream and downstream enterprises and units in the supply chain, such as Civil Aviation Express, Junzheng Logistics, China United Express, WiseTech Global, Shenzhen Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Authority, etc., participated in or sponsored the exhibition. At present, the global shipping market is in a turbulent trough period, and a stable cargo relationship is the cornerstone of the healthy development of the industrial chain and supply chain. In order to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for cargo, at the opening ceremony of this exhibition, the China Shipowners Association, the China Association of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Enterprises, and China Shipping Weekly, together with some shippers and major port and shipping logistics enterprises, jointly issued the "Cargo Integrity Coordination Initiative". The main contents of the "Cargo Integrity Collaborative Initiative" include: advocating and encouraging all parties to sign a long-term agreement with operability, advocating shipowners to improve service quality, advocating cargo owners to strengthen their understanding of shipping and providing support for the digitalization and low-carbon development of shipping, advocating that all parties explore the freight rate stabilization mechanism to help form an "open, fair and just" price system, and proposing to determine the annual long-term contract signing quarter according to China's national conditions. In order to further enhance the understanding and communication between all parties involved in the cargo, special activities such as the 2023 Photovoltaic Industry Supply Chain Logistics Forum, the 2023 International Port and Shipping Cross-border E-commerce (Shanghai) Development Summit Forum, the Heavy Industry Construction Machinery Logistics Forum, and the Logistics Forum in the Field of Automobile Export will be held during the same period of the exhibition, so as to build a pragmatic platform for cargo owners and port and shipping logistics enterprises and promote cooperation.
