Orient Overseas Container Line Limited ("OOCL") is pleased to welcome another brand new 24,188 TEU mega freighter as a new member of its fleet and was named "Orient Valencia" today at the Nantong COSCO Shipping Kawasaki Shipbuilding & Engineering Company Limited (NACKS) shipyard. The vessel is the seventh in a series of twelve environmentally friendly 24,188 TEU vessels ordered by OOCL, and is the first OOCL newbuilding to enter service in 2024, serving OOCL's Asia-Europe LL1 route.
