India's Nava Sheva port recently seized a batch of container cargoes imported from China, which may lead to Indian ports to strengthen cargo inspection and release procedures, resulting in a large number of cargoes facing delays. Nava Sheva Port is one of the important ports in India for handling container trade and is the second busiest port after Mundra Port.
According to reliable industry sources, 122 containers seized from Wan Hai 513 are being investigated. Built in 2012 and flying the Singapore flag, the vessel has a capacity of 4,500 TEU and is a container ship operated by the Wan Hai Shipping Department on the CI2(China - India) route.

The ship docked at Qingdao Port on 10 April, Shanghai Port on 15-16 April, Ningbo Port on 18 April, and Nansha Port on 20-21 April. There is cargo stowed on the ship. Note cargo and delay.
According to available data, the ship's last voyage arrived at Nava Sheva Port on May 3. Sources say the containers contained banned goods from China, including microchips, but details remain unclear.
